Core Values

1. People, Process, Product

First and foremost, people matter most to us. The whole reason this site exists, is to provide a benefit to our readers and hopefully help them live better lives. If we can help you in any way, please don’t hesitate to reach out and get in contact with us.

Next, we value the process. Everything in life is a process and that includes your finances. Unless you win the lottery, you more than likely aren’t going to become wealthy over night. The process takes time and we’re going to be here for you every step of the way.

Last, is the product. Our product is providing you value through the content that we publish on our site. We strive to deliver the best and most well rounded content to our readers. If we are aren’t solving you problems and making your financial journey easier, send us a message and let us know. If we are doing our job and helping simplify your finances, send us a message and let us know. We are here to be a resource for you and we would love to hear from you.

2. Doing What is Right

Having our readers trust is the most important part to our continued success. We will always strive to do the right thing and provide you the most accurate and helpful content. We will be completely transparent and will never try to deceive or manipulate you to make a quick buck. From time to time, if you click on a link, we may make a little bit of money but we will never recommend anything that we wouldn’t do ourselves.

3. Having a 1% Mentality

We strive to deliver better and more helpful content every chance we get. We operate with a 1% mindset which essentially means that every day, we try to be 1% better than the day before. If we can do this, we will continue to improve our content and help improve as many lives as we possibly can.

4. Impacting As Many Lives As We Can

The greatest joy we get comes from helping you achieve your financial goals. We hope to help millions of readers improve their lives financially. If we aren’t improving lives, then what is the point, right?

If we have helped you in any way, leave us a comment and let us know how. We would be more than happy to share your personal success story with our readers!

Meet the Founder

Austin Weyenberg

Founder

Austin’s story with personal finance goes all the way back to his early teenage years. He first started to get interested in finance when his father helped him open his first brokerage account (with a whopping $100) when he was 15 years old. But, he quickly became impatient with not having more money to invest, so he started to look for other ways to make some extra cash. From trying to run a “puppies for sale” listing site, to selling t-shirts for special events, to freelancing, and finally to this blog, Austin has tried just about everything to make some extra money. Austin is passionate about helping others with their personal finances through his wealth of knowledge acquired from many trials and many, many errors.
