Another popular option these days is to work with a food delivery company. DoorDash, Instacart, and Postmates are among the app-based companies that offer grocery and restaurant delivery. The added perk of working for one of these companies is that you can work when you want. Go full-time and go part-time later if you find another job or vice versa.
Another creative way to make money is becoming a personal shopper. Personal shopper jobs are great for those who love shopping and putting together pieces of clothing. Personal shoppers shop for others for a living. While most personal shopper jobs revolve around buying clothing and accessories for their clients, they could shop for virtually anything.
Some shoppers work directly for boutiques or department stores that offer these services, while others work directly for their clients. Lawn care jobs offer a solid income with no degree required. Most of the work is learned through on-the-job training. Some employers may prefer that you have a certificate or an associate’s degree. Lawn technicians maintain the lawns and other landscape features. This work typically consists of mowing lawns, maintaining plants, trimming bushes, and fertilizing.
This easy job with no experience is great for people who enjoy being outdoors and have the stamina for manual labor. Lawn care jobs are usually through local lawn care companies that offer services for communities and residences. It’s also a job that you could go out and start your own lawn care business.
The airline industry has been one that has been hit hard by the pandemic. But things are starting to improve, and by next year, we should see a full recovery. Airlines will be looking to bulk up on their flight attendants as a result. Although airlines like to have applicants with a few years of customer service experience, your high school server is likely adequate to get hired with a domestic airline.
You’ll need to attend 3 to 6 weeks of on-the-job training. There’s also an FAA-mandated exam that your employment is contingent on. Expect to work irregular hours and long periods of standing. It is a great opportunity if you love to travel, and the pay is around $55,000 per year.
There is no degree that’s required, but getting a bartender certificate could improve your job prospects. Typically you will have a few weeks of on-the-job training, and you might have to take coursework on “responsible serving” that’s state-mandated. Bartenders earn a base hourly wage and typically rely heavily on tips.
Working in a fancier establishment could fetch you more than $60,000 a year. It is one of those easy jobs that pay well without experience. You may need to work as a bar back in these fancier establishments when starting. That means you’ll have to grab bottles and wash glasses until you learn the ropes.

The work that these professionals do is typically in an office setting. They may sit for long periods, use computers and other office equipment, facilitate communication with external parties, monitor vendor deliveries, scheduling, responding to emails, and much more.
Surveying and Mapping Technicians
Survey technicians could find some postsecondary coursework in survey technology to be helpful. This job could be the one for you if you like working outdoors. Surveyors may work for private developers, extraction companies, municipalities, and other clients that need you to measure and map land.
The median salary is around $45,000 for survey technicians. Having a good understanding of math, specifically, geometry and trigonometry is necessary. You’ll need to have a willingness to learn mapping techniques and how to use surveying equipment. You could be expected to meet continuing education requirements and obtain a state-specific certificate or license.
Real Estate Agent or Broker
Working in real estate sales can offer a six-figure earning potential for an entry-level worker with just a high school diploma and a state broker’s license. The median salary is around $50,000. You’ll need to be good at selling to make money in this field.
You may need to complete some postsecondary coursework in real estate before working in real estate. You’ll probably work for one to three years at a brokerage as an entry-level real estate agent. Then you’ll have to pass your state’s real estate licensing exam. Once you’ve built up some experience, you can get your broker’s license. That way, you can work toward a partnership or start your brokerage.
Health Information Technicians
Also called medical records technicians, there’s some on-the-job training and typically state licensing certification requirements. You might also usually need to have at least one year of postsecondary education. The median salary is around $42,000.
Workers in this field manage and organize the digital and paper health records for health insurance companies, private clinics, and hospital systems. Going into subspecialties is a way that these technicians can boost their earning potential.
The pay to become a medical assistant is decent at a median salary of nearly $35,000. It’s preferred that you have a medical assistant certificate or diploma from a one-year program. More education through obtaining a two-year medical assistant associate’s degree will help you land a job easier.
Many of those who become medical assistants go on to get their nursing degrees. That boosts their income by double or more. It makes this field a great entry-point to other areas in the medical industry.
Easy Jobs with No Experience that are Available Online
If you are seeking easy jobs to get with no experience, that’s entirely possible. Since you’ll be working from home, you will need a good internet connection and a desktop or laptop.
Home chat agents will need native-level English fluency and a fast typing speed. Basically, what you will be doing is providing customer support through text-based chat conversations. It would help if you enjoyed a fast-paced environment as there is typically little downtime while you’re working. While many tutoring jobs require a college education, there are some that you can do without higher education. You can find these opportunities in teaching a language like English or Spanish. You might need to have some prior customer service or call center experience to land one of these jobs. But your high school job working as a cashier at a grocery store counts. Typically, you’ll undergo a period of training once you are hired before you start assisting customers.
Customer service agents are the first point of contact for customers. They resolve customer complaints, provide information, and help answer questions about products or services. Almost every middle to the large company hired customer service agents, and many moved to remote work. Transcription work doesn’t require any experience to get started. But you will generally have to take a typing or transcription test (and pass) to get hired. A transcriptionist takes information that’s in audio or a visual source and writes it down. They may copy or retype data from lectures and videos or even written materials.
Transcriptionists that work from home can make around $15 an hour on average. More advanced transcriptionists may earn $25 to $30 an hour. These higher rates are typically from working in the legal or medical fields.
Companies that are looking for virtual assistants aren’t concerned with whether or not you’ve worked in the industry as your skillset. You need to have strong organization, communication, and time management skills to handle the work. You could go into many different areas of VA, including social media posting, content curation, writing blogs, researching, arranging travel, customer service, and just about anything else you can think of.
